saying goodbye!

So today was the last big day of my trip- Craig and I had a fun night hanging out and posting stuff on Ebay- family is so cool! I leave for Pheonix early tomorrow- I'll get to see Richard and Jan and Kelsey for dinner--- then I go to camp (HORRAY!). . . I'll be out of contact that week. I get to stay at the Hamel's before going back to Kansas- thank goodness!

Life is good!!! Enjoy some of these final pictures. Love to all!

which day am I on?. . .

I'm not sure- so I'll just add a few here :) We went to the Beach twice- I got FRIED (but don't worry- I really did use sunscreen so it's not bad!) Kena wasn't so sure the first time- but as long as we keep her out of the water she enjoys it... haha! Life is good- I LOVEEEEE it here - I leave for YoungLives camp in five days- I am going to hate saying goodbye but YoungLives is always an exciting part of my summer, so I can't WAIT!!!

from earlier this summer...

The picture of the day today- well, I guess for yesterday, is actually from Kena's trip to Hays earlier this summer. Grandpa Glenn and Kena playing ball- so sweet!

happy Birthday, Trish!

Monday July 7th was Trish's birthday- day 13, I belive, of my fabulous trip! I treated everyone to coldstone ice cream- MY FAV!

spaghetti Saturday!

Sat, July 5th- we had spaghetti for lunch- and Kena LOVED it! I have sad news- my little memory uploading card has been finiky so I can't upload pics every day- I'm afraid it will stop working and I won't have anything to use at camp. So I will keep adding pictures as my card gets full and hope it doesn't poop out even then! Love you all

happy Anniversary, mom and dad!

Day 10- July 4. Kenadee is showing off her 4th of July outfit by "surfing" her chair, or so it's named. she's so silly! I love the middle pic- isn't she a ham? Craig and I took Brodi to play frisbee today. that is one insane dog :) VA Beach is so fun... love u mom and dad- happy anniversary!

a day in the life...

Day 8- July 2nd, 2008 We had a fun, chill day. Trish and I worked on some craft projects and I got to watch Kenadee while her mommy went to the dentist. We had fun. Kena loves her Brodi! She's so silly!

too many to choose!

starbucks and Staab eyes

Day 6... June 30th. Kissie faces from Kenadee and my first Starbucks of the trip. A skinny peppermint latte (tall). mmm. mmm. mmm

up up and away!

Day 5... the 29th. This was our day of travel. We drove to Wichita- flew to Minneapolis.. flew to Richmond.. drove to VA Beach. And made it home around 1:30am. Hence the 'Michelle is jetlagged and feeling weird so is up at 3:45 VA time.' oh well. We'll get 2 naps tomorrow :)

flush 'er down

Day 4... June 28th. Kevin and Kori Staab :) The crappiest part of the weekend (amongst other things... hahaha!)= saying goodbye to such a fabulous fam. Thanksgiving/Christmas Season can never come quick enough! This photo blog is a lot less about sharing the trip and a lot more about sharing cute pics of Kena- obviously. She loved making silly faces against the glass window at the Columbian- and how precious was that rock-a-bye Aunt Missie gave her?

can I have this dance for the rest of my life?

Day 3- June 27th. The pic is a little blurry, but look at this precious, happy family!

scrub a dub dub

Day 2... 6/26/2008 (Thursday) I watched Kenadee a lot on Thursday- Trish was getting ready for her brother's wedding so I got to hang out with Ms. Kena Cakes- after naptime I gave her a bath before the rehearsal dinner- she loves bath time!

a walk to remember.

Day 1. . . 6/25/2008. Mom and Dad drove me to meet my sister-in-law Trish, her family, and my precious niece Kenadee. Trish, her mom, and her niece got their nails done while my mom, dad and I took Kena out to eat. It was precious- mom and dad LOVE grandma and grandpa time!

Pictures of the day :)

We'll see how long I can keep this updated- but I thought it'd be fun to blog a picture of the day (when internet access is available) during my trip. . . mainly for mom & dad , *I love you and miss you!* and whoever else decides to pop in and say hello (the Glovers, perhaps?)
